Michael Young a Woodhaven native passed away February 22, 2013. He was a former NYC Firefighter. He is survived by his wife Noreen, daughter Edie, mother Virginia, siblings Kenny, Eddie and Maureen. Michael is also survived by nephews Jared, Kyle, James and Mikey and nieces Allison and Jackie. He will be missed by his loving in-laws Michele, Diane, Matthew, Leslie, Laureen and Michele. He will also be greatly missed by his Mother-in-law, Judy Brown and Father-In-Law, Arnold Dowers. He joins in heaven his father Harry, sister Barbara and brother Jimmy. Michael was an avid Knicks fan. He also enjoyed coaching kids in swimming and he loved his home in Delaware and his Camaro. Services were held at Walker Funeral Home, Woodhaven, NY.
