Eileen Marie Corrigan, 80, of Staten Island passed away on November 26, 2020. She was born on May 10, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, the only beloved child of Joseph and Kathryn Mullady. She raised her family in Brooklyn, New York and spent her summers in Leurenkill Heights with dear friends. Eileen worked for many years at the New York City Board of Education as a para-professional. She was known and loved for her vivacious nature, her sense of humor and her cooking and caring for her family and friends.
Eileen is survived by her daughter Christine (Frank) Corrigan of Danbury, CT, her sons, Matthew (Mercedes) Corrigan of Manhattan, NY and Brian (Diane) Corrigan of Middle Village, Queens. She was a devoted grandmother (Mema) to her four granddaughters; Elizabeth Marie, Emilia Marie, Ella Marie and Bridgette Marie.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home in Woodhaven, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, New York November 30, 2020 at 9:45.
In lieu of flowers her family requests that memorial donations be made to the Staten Island University Hospital Hospice Service.
