Condolence From: Pauline Dhir (grandaughter)
Condolence: Dearest Ma, as I sit and reflect on your passing, many memories come flooding to mind. The school vacations we spent with you, baking cakes and swapping receipes are a couple of things that I remember. They were great times to cherish.

Now I am crying and can't see what I am typing! taught us so many things which we will pass on to the many generations and in doing so your legacy will live on. A few years ago, I was watching Raj(my husband) doing the dishes and had to tell him he was doing it in the wrong order...he looked at me confused. I said glasses/cups first, plates and bowls next, followed by cutlery and pots and pans last. He asked who told me that. My grandmother. I still fold clothes the way she showed me when I was little and she specially taught me how to fold shirts like in the store.

There are many more wonderful memories like these and the telling off (which wasn't so great)...but that is who Ma was. She never hesitated to correct you when you were doing the wrong thing.
She was a support for us all and helped in any way she could.

Rohan says he needs to go to America to make sure great-grandma is ok. He doesn't fully understand that he won't see her again.

We love you Ma and always will...have a rest with the angels...until we meet again xx

Condolence From: Ann Marie (Granddaughter)
Condolence: Ma, my beloved grandmother, will be greatly missed.I am eternally grateful for the love , understanding and patience shown to me which helped me become the person I am today.

We are blessed and honored to have known you as our grandmother and great grandmother and cherish the great memories we had together.

We celebrated your 91 st birthday together not knowing it would be the last one we celebrate. A birthday to remember!

God broke our hearts to prove to us ,He only takes the best.

I will always be eternally grateful for everything and your memories will live in our hearts forever. You will always be remembered.

Rest in peace with the Angels and The Lord in Heaven.

Love you always and forever,

Ann Marie xx

Condolence: I called you MA.. But what is the true meaning of this word you were called.

For me it meant MOTHER..(because you didn't like the word Grandmother or Grandma as it made you feel old.. LOL).

You were always young at heart and showed it. Though you aged through the years you still had the energy and vitality to ensure that apart from your children, your grandchildren adopted your values so we can now pass this on to your great grandchildren as you are no longer with us to do it yourself.

You were taken from us so suddenly and this has left us all heart broken but we know that you are now with the angels in heaven.

Rest in peace MA knowing that you were loved.

Until we meet again xxx

Condolence From: Dale Alexander
Condolence: Mama was more than just a Grandma to me, she was a friend. Most of all, I miss her rough sense of humor that most would not get lol. But we understood one another. She helped to watch over me from since I was a child and through my mom's values I consider myself to be blessed to have known the women who instilled them within her. I respectfully will miss you Mama. Hold down the fort upstairs and we'll be coming to harass you soon. :) Mamaoye
