Lula White was born June 29th, 1919 in Hartwell, GA to the late Homer and Vinnie Williams.

Lula, a Georgia native migrated to New York City in 1950 where she resided in Jamaica, Queens. She then relocated to West Lawrence care facility when she could no longer care for herself.

Lula was a very funny and energetic person even up until the time of her death.

Even though she is gone, she will never be forgotten. She leaves here to celebrate her life, her four children: Joe Louis Turner (Ruth), Bertha Holmes (Byron), Patricia Neal (Harold) and Mildred Jones (Walter). She also had 8 grandchildren: Marcella, Saboris, Monica, Leslie, Sandra, Doshawn, Jamal, Ibrahiym and 2 grandsons whom proceeded her in death Sharif and Saifuddiyn. She also has 6 great grandchildren: Shawn, Sharieka, Niya, Aleta, Ashley, Aaiyah and 9 great-great grandchildren Shontavia, Makaylo, Jayden, Rayshawn, Dayshawn, Sydney, Corey, Coron and Ariana. Lula also had 1 sister Dorothy Blakely and one brother John Williams
